AL QURAISH Group of Companies is a singularly owned organization established in Lahore, Pakistan for the last 15 Years. We are primarily involved in the paper and board business and the Al Quraish name is a well known and respected manufacturer of high quality 100% Recycled Kraft and White Paper. Al Quraish has recently diversified and has also moved in to the PET manufacturing market where we are currently running a medium scale factory producing bottles for the beverage market. Our total strength in terms of employees is over 300 with our head office residing in Fortress Stadium, Lahore, as well as our other factory offices in Kot Lakh Pat, and Sundar. Dr. Shaukat Mahmood |chairman
Chairman and chief executive of Al Quraish Group Industries, Dr Shaukat Mahmood has a wealth of experience behind him in many different industries. Having completed a doctorate in Systems Engineering from Florida State University in the United States, Dr Shaukat went on to design and construct major civil and industrial projects in Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Australia. After returning to Pakistan in the early 90’s he went on to found Al Quraish Group and has been at its helm since its inception, turning around Al Quraish Board into a highly profitable mill. Besides his interests in AQ, Dr Shaukat is a dedicated philanthropist and has opened schools, dispensaries and woman’s welfare centers in remote parts of Pakistan.

Mr. Faraz Shaukat holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Information Systems) from the University of Western Sydney, Australia and upon its completion spent six years at IBM designing and supporting information systems for major banks in Australia. He joined Al Quraish Group Industries in 2005 and went on to help diversify the groups’ holdings into the plastic sector by founding and running Al Quraish Paper. He now holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and overseas all operations of AQG.
Mr. Shiraz Shaukat |director
Mr. Shiraz Shaukat completed his Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia after which he spent a few years at Accenture working as a management consultant for major telecommunications companies in Australia and Singapore. Mr. Shiraz Shaukat then went on to complete a Master Degree in Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Australia and joined Al Quraish Group on its completion. He currently oversees the operation of Al Quraish Board and is heavily involved in expansion projects and new business ventures for AQG.
